In the world of wellness and nutrition, finding the perfect breakfast solution that is not only quick and delicious but also packed with essential nutrients can be a challenge. Enter the Energising Vegan Sea Moss Smoothie - a harmonious blend of natural sweetness, zesty ginger, and the incredible health benefits of sea moss.
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup of your favourite plant-based milk (almond, oat, soy, or coconut work wonderfully)
- ½ cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons Mecantu’s wildcrafted sea moss gel
- A handful of ice (optional, for a colder smoothie)
- Optional sweeteners: maple syrup or agave nectar, to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Sea Moss Gel: Begin by ensuring your Mecantu sea moss gel is ready. Its neutral taste makes it a versatile addition, seamlessly blending with the other ingredients without altering the flavour profile.
- Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the ripe banana and plant-based milk. Blend until smooth, creating a creamy, rich base that will carry the flavours of the other ingredients beautifully.
- Add Flavour and Nutrients: To the blender, add the mixed berries, grated ginger, and sea moss gel. The berries offer a burst of antioxidants and natural sweetness, while the ginger adds a refreshing zing. The sea moss gel, packed with 92 essential minerals, boosts the nutritional profile, supporting everything from digestion to skin health.
- Blend Until Smooth: Add a handful of ice if you prefer a colder smoothie, and blend everything until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding a little maple syrup or agave nectar.
- Serve and Enjoy: Pour the smoothie into your favourite glass and enjoy immediately. For an extra touch of indulgence, garnish with a few berries or a sprinkle of chia seeds on top.
This smoothie isn't just food; it's fuel, designed to kickstart your day with vibrancy and vitality.
